Our history began in 1977. For more than 40 years we have been involved in the design, industrialization and molding of technical articles made of metal and plastic.
Over the last two decades Segato has increased the development and production of metal structures and components for the office furniture sector. We actively collaborate with successful architects and designers and we are a strategic partner of renowned companies in the office furniture business as well as of high-tech companies.
Segato Sergio founded the company in 1977 and today has left the helm of the company to his son Alberto, assisted by his wife Gessica and his brother Nicola.
He continues his cooperation as president offering his experience with suggestions and advices.
The Team
The company has always given great importance to the relationship with its co-workers and some of them have been with Segato since the beginning.
Today the team includes approximately 30 collaborators including specialized workers, packaging workers, engineers, secretaries and back office, simple operators and other figures.
Everyone, none excluded, is an integral part of the Team and for the company each collaborator is an essential figure for the development and the growth.

Our company was founded in 1977 with headquarters in the industrial area of Fiume Veneto. From the beginning we have specialized in the design and construction of molds and technical articles in plastic and metal. Throughout our history we have constantly collaborated with internationally renowned architects such as Moris Baroni, Andries & Hiroko Van Onck, Marc Berthier and others. This has allowed us to evolve our knowledge also in the Made in Italy design product. Over the years the company Segato continued its path and continued to produce and develop articles in the field of furnishing components for the home and for the office, objects and equipment for activities in the high-quality mountaineering sports field. The constant growth and the demand for a complete service made it necessary to create a strategic partner who currently provides the painting service. Thus was born Secotec Snc with headquarters in San Vito al Tagliamento. In 1997 the Segato company achieved the Iso9001 certification, today Iso9001-2015. Currently the group uses a total surface area of 18,000 square meters of which 7,000 are covered. There are 35 collaborators with various types of specialization depending on the type of work. The technological development has continued over the years and recently the production area uses numerically controlled laser technologies, sheet metal laser, tube laser, work centers, welding robots etc. Since we have the complete production chain under control (from design, to development, through processing till painting, ending with packaging and delivery), we can monitor the quality of our articles and therefore reduce after-sales interventions to almost zero.
